Texting and Cheating
The advent of texting has brought about myriad problems in schools and classrooms. Cheating using texting is now at the forefront of these problems. It is estimated that 1/4 of all teen texts actually happen during class. This is happening despite the fact that cellphone usage is prohibited at most schools. But what is even more shocking is the use of cell phones to supply answers during tests. Students admit to having information at the ready, stored on their cellphones.
